Description
The fragrant Brugmansia, also known as Angel’s trumpet and associated with ancestral spirits, was believed to carry the voice of the ancestors due to its hallucinogenic properties. In the Victorian era, it served as a house plant, where tea was enjoyed beneath its trumpet-shaped flowers. Tapping the flower to transfer pollen into the cup was said to induce a high akin to LSD.
